What's the purpose of this role?
Neptunus works extensively in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and also has a strong presence in the Middle East.
In the Middle East, we work in Oil & Gas and Marine markets. We provide engine repair solutions, IIoT and Predictive Maintenance Solutions and Oil Management solutions to vessel and rig owners.
In addition, we also work closely with metal recyclers in the Middle East, which is a key market for procurement and processing of non-ferrous alloys. We provide high-quality metals to foundry owners, and have become a niche service provider in an otherwise commodity-driven business.
We are looking for a Business Manager who will handle the Sales and Business Development functions for these two business lines, with a higher emphasis on the Machine Reliability business.
With technology advancing rapidly, businesses in the Middle East are adopting predictive maintenance solutions and remote asset monitoring systems. This candidate shall be at the forefront of this revolution in Maintenance, called Maintenance 4.0.
Neptunus aims to grow our businesses 5x over the next 5 years, and the Middle East Market is critical for this growth. Therefore, this candidate will be a key contributor to this market.
Attend events and exhibitions related to Predictive Maintenance, IOT, Industry 4.0 and Asset Integrity Management
Generate leads and
Create Prospect List of Customers and reach out to them
Create reports of market situation, companies who are at the forefront of the Maintenance 4.0 change.
Machine Reliability business (75-85% Bandwidth of the individual will be on this business)
Prospect upcoming opportunities for new and existing accounts
Visit decision makers and influence them
Handle objections and drive negotiations for hot opportunities
Close sales to add revenue
Customer Relationship Management
Manage and Engage Accounts
Grow accounts through upselling and cross selling.
Ensure timely collections to ensure a payment cycle of < 45 days.
Provide technical responses to queries, provide solutions based on Customer pains.
Liaising with other members of the sales team and other engineering service, Operations team member and be the face for the Customer.
Be responsible for physical verification of inventory of stock in UAE warehouse once a quarter
Shall handle all commercial documentation such as LCs etc independently
Manage our service teams when they come to the UAE.

Markets: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain
Establishing Business Relations with new business partners
Search for new sources of material, meet business partners, establish relationships and evaluate the feasibility of working for those products and markets
Validate the legitimacy of sellers and conduct due diligence to establish procurement relations.
For new business partners, supervise the loading of material and do quality inspections to ensure trust develops.
