Information for Applicants(MS Word) The main focus of iCareer is to provide support and assistance to our students to be “work ready” once they have graduated We aid our students with seeking an entry level job whilst studying We prepare our students for the New Zealand job market, also forging a career path within the area of their study and expertise At iCareer We assist you to prepare an individual CV based on skills gained in previous jobs and home country. We advise you of local job sites where vacancies are advertised, encouraging you to apply, helping you write cover letters, applications etc We give one on one advice to you to prepare for an interview by conducting a ‘mock’ interview and creating a real life scenario to aid readiness We advise you on professional mannerism and effective presentation skills We arrange for ‘work experience’ wherever possible to allow you to gain confidence in the workplace We counsel and guide you towards your career goals
    Classrooms Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 20 students, providing personalised attention to the learning needs of our students. All our classrooms are equipped computer systems and multimedia projectors for effective teaching tools. Computer Laboratories There are 5 computer laboratories for use at Cornell, equipped with the latest computers for an efficient learning experience in a modern teaching environment. We provide free internet access, e-mail access, and printing services for our students. Kitchen Our kitchens are fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances which provide the opportunity to acquire practical expertise in a realistic working environment for our cookery students. Experienced and Well-Qualified Staff The CIBT experience is made unforgettable through the tireless support of our well-experienced and highly qualified teachers and staff members. Through the dedication of our teachers the students at CIBT are able to grow intellectually and learn how to acquire professional skills that are invaluable in an ever changing and increasingly competitive global business environment. Teaching methodology
    Training Restaurant The training restaurant serves as the laboratory for our hospitality students which exposes them to real situations in a restaurant setting. Cafeteria & Student Lounge A cafeteria and student lounge are available for our students’ use for their class breaks, where they can meetup and get acquainted with students from other programs. Library The library is equipped with the latest edition of textbooks, journals and reference materials, which can be used by the students for their academic learning and assignments.
