Job Description

We would be organising a hiring drive shortly. The Shortlisted candidate will be contacted by us    

Senior Analyst will be part of a team within the offshore centre supporting the Institutional Sales Business Performance team through provision of key management information and services. Initially, limited client interaction is anticipated although the scope of the role is expected to develop and change over time according to business needs, maturity of technology solutions, and expansion of the offshore capability. The individual will be expected to work closely with the COO function and internal sales people in onshore locations.

The role will entail working with the onshore Institutional Sales Regional Business Managers in onshore, in developing the Institutional Sales Performance Function globally. Key responsibilities will be;
Development of Pipeline management capabilities
Preparation of Client Presentations and Management Packs
Establishing and maintaining Client tiering from work, its associated governance and management 
Build and management of client focussed MI and analytics
Application of MI and analytics to build actionable intelligence across the Institutional client base which will be used for client strategy, sales strategy and opportunity assessment
Executive level & sales practitioner reporting of client performance
Development of Service management agenda and reporting
Incorporation of external market information include quantitative metrics (market share, wallet share) and qualitative metrics (service level analyses, client feedback) into the analytics function.
It should be noted that this is a new function in Markets and therefore the role holder needs to be highly motivated, proactive, have leadership capabilities and be capable of developing a team.

Skills Required

Key Requirements

    8 to 10 years experience in financial services, with specific focus on performance analysis reporting preparation of client or business strategy packs on a regular basis. Working in a new team and creating/optimising new processes in an offshore location would be advantageous 
    Understanding of Global Markets products as well as Client Tiering, Client Management and Client Strategy would be preferred 
    Excellent technical & proven skills with Microsoft Presentations
    Proven analytical ability 
    Ability to distil complex and varied data into information; good process analysis and problem solving skills 
    Advanced level of MS Excel and PowerPoint skills 
    Attention to detail and ability to ensure that information is captured in a timely manner 
    Excellent written, verbal & presentation communication skills 
    The ability to quickly understand customer requirements and concerns and deliver a quality result to them 
    Proven ability to prioritise workload effectively in line with business priorities 
    Manage deadlines, escalate issues promptly, and prioritise workload
    Willing to turn a hand to whatever task is required 
    Willingness to own work and problems and see through to completion and to use own initiative to resolve issues 
    Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to succeed within a matrix management structure and build and maintain global team relationships 
    Able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines 
    Proven project management experience with an ability to influence staff at different levels without reporting lines 
    Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a global organization would be an added advantage
    The ability to work with senior management globally and act as a team player
    Bachelors degree held in a numerical subject
    Qualification post-graduation in a numerical subject desirable
    Flexibility to adapt to UK / US / HK hours
