Job Description

Role:

This is a critical role within WNS-Denali Procurement Operations team based in India. The candidate will report to Leadership Team and support global procurement analytics delivery for internal or client engagements. The role will have high visibility within the company and involve working with various Leadership across Capabilities, Category Management, Technology, Sales and Solutioning etc.

      Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

  • Responsible to work closely with Procurement Head / Key Stakeholder to gather right data for procurement analytics.
  • Perform data cleansing, categorization, normalization of suppliers and data enrichment to develop clean data for analysis.
  • Develop various procurement analytics KPIs dashboards (spend, contract, savings, operational etc.)
  • Build key insights and identify savings opportunities based on procurement spend / contract / operational data.
  • Support internal / external Category Managers with analytics for category planning and strategy development.
  • Responsible to manage and facilitate delivery of Procurement Analytics services for both internal service delivery needs with sales and solutioning teams, as well as client-facing engagements.
  • Identify and implement team best practices related to Procurement analytics.
  • Works with Leadership to prioritize business and information needs. 

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possesses sound procurement experience and analytics acumen to understand and drive Procurement Analytics capability, including consultative skills, and understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, negotiation, supplier management.
  • Experience and understanding of sourcing and analytics tools such as Ariba, Zycus, GEP, Coupa, IBM Watson etc.
  • Expertise in MS Excel, Visualization tools to build dashboards. 
  • Strong client service orientation & problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally, with client stakeholders, and the supplier community)
  • Excellent project management skills including project planning, time management, multitasking, critical path definition
  • Ability to work as a leader and team player within the teams
