Job Description

This person is responsible for achieving Topline revenue (Rs.) on CHC (Consumer Healthcare/OTC) by executing these key deliverables:


  • 1. Launch & geographic expansion of a portfolio of vitamins & nutraceutical products
  • 2. Build a marketing-lead sales funnel to push sales growth
  • 3. Review brand-wise top-line/bottom-line and ensure the desired portfolio-wise revenue mix
  • 4. Lead development of promotional plans and product campaigns (ATL/BTL/Digital) in order to achieve the target market share and sales. Align and update corporate and regional stakeholders from time to time.
  • 5. Lead & coordinate he design and execution of innovative communication or Mass Media. Align with and execute all BTL campaigns through trade marketing and sales team
  • 6. Maintain a deep knowledge of the market trends, consumer insights,
  • 7. Opening up new markets/regions in India
  • 8. Developing/Executing common marketing mix elements (TVCs, Packaging, Visual Aids, POS etc.)
  • 9. Driving Digital focused on brand awareness and e-commerce

Responsibilities & Accountabilities



1. Launch and geographic expansion of multi-vitamin brand:

  • Launch a portfolio of vitamins & nutraceutical products in India.
  • Work with the sales, R&D, Medical & Distribution teams for creating effective marketing collateral.
  • Work on the market-mix elements: Product formulation, Pricing, Go-to-market, Distribution, Packaging - Structure & Design and Promotion.
  • Ensure timely execution/launch of new marketing campaigns.
  •   Data analysis:
  • Initiate consumer (primary) research as appropriate for target markets.
  • Analyze external data (Euromonitor, IMS, Nielsen) to help determine which market segments and sub-categories to focus on.
  • Exploit the analysis for further expansion, strategy tuning and sales growth.


  • 3. Developing/Executing common marketing mix elements:
  • Help in executing a common look/feel across Marketing Mix elements i.e. TVCs, Digital, Packaging Design, Packaging Structure & POS material.
  • Marketing Mix elements to be localized across different regions in India keeping in mind local market requirements, consumer preferences, cultural nuances, market/category evolution etc.
