Experience and Responsibilities: .
Liaise between Ciber offshore team and our client, acting as team lead when required.
Proficient in multiple technologies used in the provisioning of modern Systems Engineering environments including but not limited to:
o Primary Technologies: Akamai, AWS, Tomcat, Redhat Linux (RHEL), Windows, F5 & A10 Load Balancers
o Technologies: Scripting, Chef, Ruby/Python/bash, Git, Rabbit MQ, Docker, Rundeck, Terraform, ServiceNow
o Network Communications: DNS Routing, Subnets, Load Balancers, Inbound HTTP/HTTPS Proxy
o Cloud application administration using scripting tools for AWS, Azure to manage storage, active processes, and command line instructions
o Tools: Jenkins, Nimbus, Terraform, Consul/Vault, Rundeck, Github, Docker, Tomcat, Akamai, Couchbase, F5, Rabbit MQ, Keyblade, ServiceNow Incident and Change Management, JIRA, Bugzilla, Remedy
Respond to and manage infrastructure requests via ServiceNow and other ticketing tools.
Strong experience in ITIL Change and Incident management processes and procedures.
Execute DevOps functions to automate infrastructure provisioning and change management.
Develop and maintains scripts to automate repetitive tasks, according to standards of the organization using scripting technologies like Bash, Korn Shell, and similar.
Follow established Network Security protocols & standards (TLS/Certificates, Firewalls, ACL, IP tables)
Develop automated provisioning applications according to organizational standards for deployment to Amazon or Azure cloud environments.
Design and implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery processes and tools
Executes daily tasks as necessary to support ongoing DevOps (Development Operations) needs
Creates and maintains documentation of requirements and solution designs according to standards of the organization.
Presents all work products for review and critique by managers and peers within the Cloud SE community, and applies recommended changes as directed by same.
